Delhi Premier League 2024

The Delhi Premier League (DPL), India’s newest T20 tournament, is set to begin with an exciting match between Purani Dilli-6 and South Delhi Superstarz on Saturday, August 17. The match will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, starting at 8:30 PM IST. Fans can look forward to seeing stars like Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, and Ayush Badoni in action during this opening game.

The DPL features six teams competing in a total of 33 matches, running from August 17 to September 8. The tournament will kick off with an opening ceremony featuring performances by rapper Badshah and actor Sonam Bajwa. While the first match begins at 8:30 PM, subsequent matches will start at either 2:00 PM or 7:00 PM. All matches will be held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. In addition to Pant, Ishant, and Badoni, other notable players like Harshit Rana, Yash Dhull, Hrithik Shokeen, and Navdeep Saini are also confirmed to participate in DPL 2024.
