The eligibility criteria for Kerala SET 2024 are as follows:
Age Limit
- There is no upper age limit for applicants to apply for the Kerala SET 2024.
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the relevant subject.
- A B.Ed. degree from any university in Kerala or a university recognized as equivalent is also acceptable.
- For subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany, candidates must have an M.Sc. Ed. from an NCERT recognized institute with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Certain disciplines such as home science, commerce, and French do not require a B.Ed. degree for SET eligibility.
- Candidates with a B.Ed. and a II class Master’s degree in Communicative English with at least 50% marks are eligible for the English SET exam.
- Those without a B.Ed. but have completed DLEd/LTTC in Arabic, Urdu, or Hindi can apply for SET JULY-2024.
- Applicants with a master’s degree in biotechnology and a B.Ed. in natural science with at least 50% marks are eligible for the Kerala SET July 2024 exam.
