Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test Notification 2024

The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) has announced the 2024 exam details. UTET-I (for Classes I-V) requires candidates to be 12th pass with a diploma in education, while UTET-II (for Classes VI-VIII) requires a graduation degree and a degree in education. Eligibility Criteria for UTET 2024

Primary Level Eligibility

• Code 01: 10+2 Intermediate (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completed or currently enrolled in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
• Code 02: 10+2 Intermediate (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and completed or currently enrolled in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), as per NCTE regulations.
• Code 03: 10+2 Intermediate (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completed or currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Code 04: 10+2 Intermediate (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completed or currently enrolled in a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
• Code 05: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and completed or currently enrolled in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
• Code 06: Shiksha Mitra with a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from IGNOU.

Junior Level Eligibility

• Code 01: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and completed or currently enrolled in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
• Code 02: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completed or currently enrolled in a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent.
• Code 03: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and completed or currently enrolled in a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) as per NCTE regulations.
• Code 04: 10+2 Intermediate (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completed or currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Code 05: 10+2 Intermediate (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completed or currently enrolled in a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
• Code 06: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completed or currently enrolled in a B.Ed in Special Education.
• Code 07: At least 50% marks either in Graduation or Post-Graduation and completed or currently enrolled in a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). The 50% mark requirement in Graduation does not apply to those who enrolled in B.Ed or B.El.Ed before July 29, 2011.
